Starting Veteran Owned Businesses
2012-8-31 Woodside Herald Ms. Man-Li Kuo Lin an Economic Development Specialist with the U.S. Small Business Administration and Queens County Council VFW Commander Bernard Robinson hosted a seminar at VFW Post No. 2813 on August 20th aimed at educating and encouraging veterans to start their own business. Ms. Lin discussed a wide range of topics which included starting an e-business, developing a business plan, qualifying for government contracts, R & D Grants, marketing and much more.
