2012-10-30 颶風過後 Sandy's Aftermath

2012-10-30 昨夜一夜風聲呼嘯，聽到有東西被吹落，今天才知道是天窗的金屬護罩掉到後院，砸穿了一輛車子的後窗及刮壞了車身。下午到附近探查，很多路邊的車都被倒下的樹入侵了。很多家庭出門， 孩子們關在家兩天之後，興高采烈地在倒下的樹上嬉戲。 颶風已過， 但是許多纽约人的生活要一陣子才能恢復正常。
After two days home stay, families went out for the fresh air. It was sad to see many cars were damaged by the fallen trees.The skyline cover of our building was blown away and hit a car in the backyard. Mother nature is powerful, yet New Yorkers are strong.

公共交通停止，桥梁隧道关闭了两天，我们意外地放了9天飓风假。
